Brought my brothers truck to this garage with a list of repairs to complete. The repairs included a engine flush and oil change with synthetic oil, repair the exhaust manifold bolts, replace the oil dipstick tube, and the rear pinion seal. He called me and said the truck was fixed and the bill was $ 710.00. I paid him and went to leave with the truck and the battery was dead. He helped me get it started with a boost and I could hear a noise from the engine. He said it was nothing to worry about. By the time I got home it was noticeably louder. I did a inspection on the repairs and noticed the oil filter had not been changed. The manifold bolts were the cheapest bolts off the shelf and only had washers on 2 of them. The air filter had been removed and reinstalled incorrectly and destroyed. I called him to tell him what I had found and he agreed that I was right and he has the filter sitting on his shelf and he forgot to change the bolts to the correct ones and said that he would fix everything including any damages he may have caused. After a week of totally disregarding his claim to go good on his work i went to see him and told him that If he didnt come fix the truck that I was going to call my lawyer and fIle a lawsuit against his garage and report him to the better business Bureau. He said he would come look at the truck the following day. Twenty minutes after I left his garage he sends me a text message that he felt threatened by me, and not to come on his property again, and to stay away from his garage, and family. So here I am! The facts are that he is did not complete a oil change, I believe the engine flush was left in the engine and may have caused further damage. It is amazing that he is still in business. I have given him ample time fix his mistakes. So here is the first step at my attempt to hold him responsible.
